Winner of fiddle contests and 2018 graduate of Berklee College of Music under their Presidential Scholarship (full tuition, room and board for all four years), Audrey Budington has played violin since she was four. Classically trained, her true loves are Traditional, New England, Celtic and Fusion, Pop, Rock, and she is also known for her creative compositions. Raised on contra dances and old tunes from the British Isles, Audrey has a fiddle style that is both reminiscent and refreshing. Her performances maintain the integrity and raw emotion of beloved traditional tunes, while her original compositions sparkle with wanderlust and anemoia.

Audrey has played in numerous film scoring and album sessions and was selected by Grammy award-winning arranger and record producer Rob Lewis to play in a house band for the new TV show pilot presentation “Legendary.” She has opened for Black Violin and was a guest artist for Darlingside. She has performed at Ossipee Valley Music Festival in ME, Boston Celtic Music Fest (BCMFest), on the amphitheater stage at Common Ground Country Fair in ME and at many additional venues. Audrey has played for scores of contra dances throughout New England, the Mid-Atlantic, Southeast, Midwest and Quebec. She has provided original live music for ballets, performed for two NH Governors, played for the New Hampshire State Council on the Arts, represented the State of NH at The Big E in West Springfield, MA, and entertained on The Gundalow in Portsmouth, NH.  Audrey has also studied closely with great artists such as Darol Anger, Eugene Friesen, David Surette, and Maeve Gilchrist.
